Academy is seeking a Winter Theatre Music Director, February 2026 to support our winter theater production, Pippin.
This role is responsible for recruiting, preparing, and rehearsing pit
orchestra members, as well as leading the pit orchestra during tech week and
performances. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, collaborative, organized
professional with strong conducting skills and understanding of/experience in
musical theater.
The Winter Theatre Music Director will work closely with the stage director and production team
and support the artistic vision of the production. This is a two-week position
that takes place in the afternoons, evenings, and limited weekends from
February 7 to February 21, 2026.
