Human Resources Director

experienced Human Resources Director to lead human resources functions of the
organization and join our Leadership Team. ReSOURCE is an innovative nonprofit

What the Human Resources Director Does
ReSOURCE has locations around the
northern half of the State and reaches beyond the State’s borders through
training programs. The Human Resources Director will drive improvements in
existing processes that support staff and students, promote an inclusive and accessible
workplace, and serve on the organization’s Leadership Team.
Every day the Human Resources
Director interacts with and supports staff and students, manages talent acquisition,
performance management, employee development and compensation and benefits. This
position builds and maintains an inclusive and respectful work environment and
collaborates to support departments that allow ReSOURCE to fulfill our mission.
Longer term, this role will
position ReSOURCE as an employer of choice in Vermont by providing leadership
in employee development programs and compensation trends. In addition, as part
of the Leadership Team, the Human Resources Director will lead ReSOURCE through
3 years of DEI training and development.
Work Schedule & Environment
Hours – 40 hour per week, standard
weekday schedule
Location – ReSOURCE’s Williston Office, limited remote work available
Compensation – $60,000 - $80,000 annual salary
This position is supervised by our
Executive Director, who is well regarded in Vermont for his work growing ReSOURCE’s
statewide reach. He's been with ReSOURCE since 1996 and is known as incredibly
dedicated and passionate about our work.
The Leadership Team this position works
with is passionate about the mission of ReSOURCE, they work hard, are committed
to each other, and bring fun to work.
Job Requirements
The Human Resources Director must have
strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations and proven experience in developing
and implementing HR strategies. Human Resources requires an ability to
communicate well with a variety of audiences. ReSOURCE requires collaboration
skills and an interest in understanding operations to be a real asset. Bachelor's
degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's
degree preferred. 10 years of progressive HR experience or in a leadership
role. HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
They must be naturally collaborative,
curious about and interested in others, highly organized, and must have a
natural eye for details and deadlines.
